In CGI, one essential key is lighting.
The lighting of a scene can change everything. It has an influence on the whole scene technically but also artistically. It impacts the mood and the materials overall.
So on this one, I chose a sunset. It brings nice warm colors and this is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted warm shades to go along with the red paint of the car.
Red suits easily a sports car, it's a strong color filled of emotions and passion.

And that's exactly the purpose of a sports car: feel.
To contrast with this natural soft lighting source that is the sun, the rear is lighted with a flash and the tail lights are on.
Then, to bring dynamism and strength, the camera is placed on the ground level as a hero shot but also with an angle, creating a diagonale as a strong line in my image.
The car is one with the road.
