The Basilisk
'Beware, don't come too close.
This beast is not here to play nice.
You've been warned.'
I wanted this AMG-GT to have a personality, to see it more like a character than a very car. So I gave it a monster livery and the tail lights became red eyes.
If you're used to see my work, you know I like full CGI renders. Even if this is way more work, it gives me a real freedom to create exactly the scene I aim.

And this one is a good example.

Here, I'll will focus on the composition of the image. Another essential key.

The main composition guideline I use is the rule of thirds.

I always use it. To me, it's the most important rule of composition.
In my 3D scenes I have those guide lines displayed in my camera view from the start (see below).
The main guide lines
In addition to this, I often create line(s) of force to give more strength to the composition of my image (the red line, see above). The pivoted camera helps to brings dynamism.

And finally, the three cones have two purposes: bring depth to the scene (especially the one on the right) on one hand and to frame the untamed beast on the other hand.

There is nothing random for the eye or for the storytelling here.
For the lighting, you can watch my NSX project, it is the same principle.
